Taro Takeuchi - Baroque Guitar, Lute, Theorbo
Taro Takeuchi was born in Kyoto, Japan. After completing his study of law and
music, he came to study early music at the Guilldhall school of music and drama
London.
Since leaving college, he has became active in Europe and now regularly performs and tours internationally. He now lives in London and has worked with Glyndeboune Opera, Kings Consort, The Orchestra of Age of Enlightenment, and recently he toured and made DVD/CD of [Four Seasons] with Nigel Kennedy/Berliner Phirhamonic Orchestra.
His first solo recording on baroque guitar [FOLIAS!] was released from Deux-Elles in 2002 to high acclaim.
