Rebecca Prosser

Rebecca Prosser studied recorder and Baroque violin as a scholar at the RCM. After graduating in 1995 she went on to perform with many leading Period ensembles including the English Concert, Gabrielli Consort & Players, Kings Consort and Florilegeum. Rebecca can be frequently seen as a soloist with the Feinstein Ensemle in St Martins -in- the- Field and is a member of the Denner Ensemble. As well as recording with these groups she has been involved with projects in the United States as a soloist with the American Boychoir and also featured on the soundtrack of the Harry Potter movies.

Her concert work has taken her throughout Europe and the Far East where she has performed in many prestigious festivals and venues. Rebecca has taught piano and recorder at Kensington Preparatory School since 1995 and is recorder teacher at the University of Surrey. She is often called to examine at the Rcm as an external specialist and has recently adjudicated the Early Music prizes.
